The 2021-2022 school year is Mrs. Maureen Reily's second year teaching at Good Shepherd Catholic School. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Reily attended Queen of Peace School for seventh and eighth grades before moving on to Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote. She later earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching for 25 years, most recently at Immaculate Conception Preschool in Jenkintown.
Mrs. Reily enjoys teaching preschoolers because they are eager to learn and they love to ask questions. They are amazed by everything. She enjoys talking with them and learning about their interests. One of the best parts about teaching Pre-K GSC is the opportunity to bring God's love into class discussion. The children learn that God is a part of their lives. He loves them unconditionally, and that we can all be an example of God's love by being kind to one another.
Mrs. Reily is married, lives in Queen of Peace Parish, and has two grown children. In her free time, she belongs to a book club, enjoys sewing, taking cooking classes and walking three miles a day.
